Meet The Doctor
Endodontist Ty Erickson, DDS, MS,
Dr. Ty Erickson was born in Charleston, South Carolina. With his father in the military, Dr. Erickson traveled extensively when he was young, even living in Alaska for a time. In his travels and schooling, Dr. Erickson learned Spanish as a second language. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Science degree from the University of Illinois in 1989 and his dental degree from the University of Iowa in June of 1995. Upon completing dental school, Dr. Erickson entered the endodontic program at the University of Iowa, and graduated in June, 1998. He became a Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics, and is board certified. Dr. Erickson joined Endodontics, P.C. in 1998, a group practice of six endodontists, and was a partner for seventeen years. Though a group practice has been very special to him, he has had a dream to run his own practice and so in January of 2016, a new office was born. Dr. Erickson looks forward every day to treating his patients in this new location conveniently located in West Des Moines near 50th Street and Mills Civic Parkway, 4855 Mills Civic Pkwy., Suite 201, West Des Moines, IA 50265.
Dr. Erickson lives in West Des Moines with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Ellie and Cole. They attend Sacred Heart Church. He enjoys his profession, time with family and friends, golf, and family travels.
